Data we process
Depending on your relationship with us, we process identity and contact details, delivery and billing addresses, order and payment status, account information, messages and limited technical and cookie data. We do not retain full card details where payment is handled by an external provider.
Purposes and legal bases
Orders, payment, delivery and support: performance of a contract or pre-contract steps. Invoices and statutory records: legal obligation. Enquiries and customer support: contract or legitimate interest. Security, fraud prevention and claims: legitimate interest and legal obligations. Newsletters and marketing: consent where required, which may be withdrawn at any time.
Recipients and transfers
Data is available only to staff who need it and to contracted hosting/IT, payment, delivery, accounting or legal providers. We disclose it to authorities when required by law. Processors may act only on our instructions. Transfers outside the EEA use an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
Retention periods
Order, invoice and contract data is retained for statutory tax/accounting periods and applicable claim periods. Account data is kept until deletion or extended inactivity unless needed for an open order or legal duty. Enquiries are retained until resolved and for a reasonable claim period; marketing data until withdrawal.
Data security
We use reasonable organisational and technical controls, access restrictions, updates and backups. No internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. We handle a personal data breach in accordance with applicable notification duties.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Rights may be limited where the law requires retention or permits continued processing.
