Handles for zapping

I read somewhere that copper handles are inferior to the carbon ones some people use. I read that copper handles oxidize, that they are cold and that they keep coming off the cables. But from what I read on your website, that is not the case. Could you tell me more?

We wrote about this here: https://zapper-pro.si/bakrene-ali-karbonske-rocke/

Yes, copper handles do oxidize, but that only means they no longer look as nice as they did when new. They are easy to clean, and during treatments we slip wet socks over them for even better conductivity.

Different people experience the handles differently. Some find them cold, while others find that the handles become very warm during treatment. Some people like the handles, while others do not because they prefer to keep their hands free—for this purpose we offer electrically conductive gloves, wristbands... with silver threads.

In some places, copper handles to which you attach cables with crocodile clips are indeed still used. This does not provide good contact, and the cables also tend to come off. Our copper handles feel much heavier in your hands and are closed at both ends. The cable connects to them with a plug that cannot come loose. Connecting the cable to the handle or disconnecting it takes about as much force as plugging an electrical appliance into a power socket or unplugging it.

Carbon handles cannot compare with copper ones at all. They may look nicer, but do not be misled by the phrase "premium carbon handles". Conductivity is what matters when zapping. They must, however, be firmly connected to the cables—there has to be contact.
