Copper or carbon grips?
We have received many questions from you regarding the use of handles with the Zapper-Pro. Do we only have copper handles available? Why don't we also offer carbon ones? Are copper or carbon grips better?
In this article, we will answer the dilemmas mentioned above. When using any zapper, it is necessary to use materials that are electrically conductive to transmit frequencies to the body. If we use substances that do not conduct electricity, there will be no effect. The better the conductivity of a substance, the better the effect.
Electrical conductivity, specific electrical conductivity or specific conductivity (symbol σ) is the reciprocal of specific resistivity . The International System of Units prescribes a derived unit for it , S / m or Ω -1 m -1 , in practical use there are other derived units, such as m/Ω mm².

The table shows that the most conductive substance is silver, followed by copper, followed by gold, aluminum... We can see that carbon is far in the second half of the table with about 10 times less conductivity than copper. Ask yourself why copper is used in electrical wiring and not anything else. Copper has excellent conductivity and is cheaper than silver.
It is certainly true that carbon handles are more durable than copper ones. However, the above reasons are reason enough to use copper handles with the Zapper-Pro, which can also be wrapped in wet socks. In this way, we further increase the conductivity, while at the same time preventing the user from feeling the cold copper. The connection between the cable and the handle is for excellent contact via the plug, without any crocodiles.
Silver threads are used in the dry set (electroconductive gloves, socks, bracelets and knee braces). This means that the conductivity is extremely good (see table), but at the same time there is no feeling of cold. What's more, the Zapper-Pro has two equivalent outputs, so by using socks and gloves at the same time, we will even double the effect of frequency therapy.

I have tried both copper and carbon grips. I can confirm that the copper ones do oxidize quickly and are no longer as nice to look at, but the patina is very easy to clean. It is not true that these handles make the hands cold, neither wearing wet clothes nor without it. Carbon handles are really nicer, but I found that the effect is much worse or the power of the frequency is lower. I don't know if it's due to conductivity... I'm only judging by my feeling. But it is important that the handles - one or the other - are firmly attached to the cable with suitable plugs, i.e. not with alligator clips that keep falling down.
